Glory be to God
Who made all things for himself
All glory is his

Are you God’s counsellor?
What have you given to God?
Is your glory yours?

Whatever you do
In everything you do
Give glory to God

Not sure what else needs to be said about this one. We spend our lives seeking glory; whether it be praise for our abilities or the way we did our hair… God is the one who had prepared good works for us to do. If we don’t do them we have failed our purpose. If we do them, Glory be to God for preparing them and giving us his spirit by whom we can act in love and service.

That’s not to say that we are nothing, that we mean nothing, are worth nothing. God has given us love when we hate(d) him: sent his only son to die. He gives us life, what are we without that?
